Part 2 (Stage 2) - Online submission of model

During this part of the project, what we did was:


Example of a screenshot and human model
1.What we did:
Took screenshots of various parts of the model we applied different tools to make
Included human model for reference to the correct size of items
Discussed about the descriptions of the items



2.Difficulties:
Forgot about adding human models in the screenshots for reference


3.Solutions:
Added human models, took new screenshots and re-uploaded them online

Part 2 (Stage 1) - 3-D modeling

During this part of the project, what we did was:


1.Attended Google Sketchup workshop

Learnt how to make simple shapes and complex models


2.Start of modeling project

  What we learnt:

-Teamwork and cooperation matter in the process
-Modeling of shapes and models

What we did:
-Discussed and did a rough sketch on paper about the layout of the particular areas of improvement in the library
-Provided rough ideas and images about the areas of improvement so that the designer will know how to model those things

Difficulties:
There were no time slots for us to meet up to do the project together
The computers in the library do not have the software Google Sketchup
Some members refused to cooperate

Solutions:
Used the time we have in the OPW lessons and recess time to discuss about the planning
Did the model at home and discussed either in school or on the internet through online chat
Took in everyone’s comments and suggestions and further edit and improve them to make it much better than before

Part 1 (Stage 2) - Brainstorming on Key Features, Strengths and Areas of improvement

During this part of our project, what we did was to identify:


1.Key Features:

Discussion tables
Long tables
Individual tables
Computers
Printer





2.Strengths:

Conducive and silent environment
Provides internet usage, space for discussion and individual space if needed
Printing service if needed at a cheap price



3.Areas of improvement:

  Better discussion table

 -Provides as a discussion table and an individual table with/without a separation barrier
Music table (with electrical sockets for insertion of earpieces)
 -For those who need music to study


Part 1 (Stage 1) - Form group and selection of project

During this segment of our project, what we did was to:


1.Thinking of group name:


Inno-dream is a combination of innovation and dream. Hence, our main goal is thinking out of the box and making innovative dreams come true.


2.Selected Project:

We picked the Library and felt that it holds a lot of potential for improvement as there are many empty spaces that may be used for useful purposes.
